About the Performers:

The Hitchcock & Torres Guitar Duo formed in 2017 and since then has performed in selected venues throughout the Lehigh Valley.

Heath Hitchcock's music background is from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. It was there that he received his master's degree in Music Performance while studying under Julian Gray. Heath's solo album, “Five Centuries of the Guitar" is available at CDBaby.

Jorge Torres is Associate Professor of Music at Lafayette College, where he teaches courses in Music History and World Music. He is the director of the Maquis Consort, Lafayette College's early music ensemble. His recording with Rebcca Stuhr, Music for Flute & Guitar, is available on Centaur Records.

About the Chapel:

This non-sectarian chapel (note the symbols representing different religions) was built in 1875 for the convenience of families who wished to have services on the Cemetery grounds. Later, an addition in the back allowed room for the storage of bodies if needed until the gravesites could be prepared. The building was restored in 2001 when heat and electricity were added. All furniture in the Chapel is original to the building.
