About the event

We’re inviting the Easton community for a day of fun, recreation, history, food and neighborly connection. We’ll be offering cemetery tours, in both English and Spanish, and gardening tours by our Grave Gardeners. We are also partnering with local organizations including the West Ward Community Initiative, The Nature Nurture Center, the Lafayette and Easton Libraries, Family Connection to offer a variety of additional activities, and a few food trucks!

Events include:

  • Walking tours
  • Scavenger hunt
  • Community resources
  • Gardening and nature
  • Food trucks

Stop by the info tent on your way inside the main gate for a full schedule of events and details.

Our popular docent-led tours will be offered throughout the day, as well as a scavenger hunt for all ages. Explore our beautified French graves with a tour and native plant talk with Master Gardeners.

Do you have a family member or ancestor buried at Easton Cemetery that you want to know more about? Are you curious about your own family history and just don't know how to get started? Bring your genealogy questions to the Easton Cemetery Community day! Librarians from Lafayette College and Easton Area Public Library will be there to help you discover your family roots and provide answers.

Begin your day with gentle yoga and movement within beautiful, serene backdrop. Say hello to furry friends with the Center for Animal Health and Welfare. Participate in outdoor activities with The Nature Nurture Center. Snack on some Puerto Rican goodies from La Frikitona and Sunnies Bake Shop.
