I have volunteered to assist Friends of Historic Easton Cemetery (“FHEC”) and execute this Agreement on the date below. I release FHEC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, sponsors, volunteers, and successors from liability and agree as follows:

1. Assumption of Risks: I understand volunteering may involve hazards, including trail maintenance, use of hand/power tools (including chainsaws), and other outdoor work. I assume all risks of injury, death, or property damage related to my volunteer activities.

2. Waiver and Release: I, my heirs, and representatives release and hold harmless FHEC from all claims, costs, losses, or damages, including those resulting from negligence, except acts done with intent to harm. This includes claims for bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage from my volunteer service.

3. Indemnification: If I or my successors bring a claim contrary to this Agreement, I am responsible for FHEC’s legal expenses unless the court finds FHEC liable.

4. Medical Treatment: I release FHEC from liability for first aid or medical treatment provided during my volunteer service and authorize transport to a medical facility if necessary.

5. Drug-Free Workplace: I understand that possession or use of alcohol or illegal drugs while volunteering is prohibited and may be reported to authorities.

6. Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by Pennsylvania law. If any part is found invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
